Guidos Gonubie, just up the road from Rose and Ale on the main road, is a lovely location for a family meal. They have an incredible menu with something for everyone, including pizza, pasta, steak, eisbein, and schnitzel.
Our family really enjoyed their meal. Good-sized pizza made in the wood fire oven with various toppings to choose from. They do not skimp with the pizza toppings either. The base was crispy, just the way owe wanted. I enjoyed the Dutch Pasta which is steak strips dipped in the Dutch sauce. The steak was tender, and the pasta prepared to perfection – it was delicious. You have a choice of fettuccini, penne or spaghetti.
My son had the eisbein and he said it was crispy and mouth-watering. The eisbein comes served with either chips or vegetables.
The manager makes a special effort to check on all her patrons. They have a fully stocked bar and a variety of different wines to enjoy with your meal, as well as desserts, milkshakes, and soft drinks.
